  • Lousy photography and product descriptions. Don’t forget your customers can’t physically pick up and examine your products. Your photos need to be clear and high-quality. If customers can zoom in on or rotate the image, even better. It’s just as important to have quality product descriptions. Take the time to write concise, accurate, engaging descriptions that will give customers the information they need to make a purchase.
  • A difficult checkout process. Make it so a customer can complete a purchase in as few clicks as possible. If the checkout process is too lengthy or difficult, a customer will go elsewhere.
